OMG OMG OMG I UPDATED.
Multiple drabbles on the Miscellaneous Fics page. Also, two new fics: Agents of Fortune 1-10, a Supernatural/Dark Angel crossover, and SuperYami, a Supernatural/Yami no Matsuei crossover. .....yeah, I know we're weird.

Wow, has it really been that long?
This isn't an udpate. It's actually sort of an un-update. So, here's the important announcement... due to a case of plagiarism and a case of paranoia, ALL ORIGINAL FICTION ON THIS WEBSITE HAS BEEN TAKEN DOWN. Gone. Finito. Do *not* e-mail asking for it to be put back up. It won't be. Do not e-mail asking if you can get copies. You can't.
I'm honestly really, really sorry it came to this, but I just don't feel safe posting original fiction here anymore. There's no safeguards and digital copyright ain't worth shit. Friends-locked stuff may or may not still be posted at the ficlog - the jury's still out on that decision right now. It sucks, I know, but we would have had to take it all down anyway if we wanted to get it published, so this way it's just happening early. The hard truth is, we're taking down most of it because we don't want it to be stolen before we can publish it. And anything we're not planning to publish... it's not really good enough to leave up a page with just that stuff. Anyway, yeah. There it is.
Someday, I swear to God, I'll do an actual update here. ^^;;

Pathetic update. New recs (although we tried to do a lot of them this time to make up for it) and large bunches of fanart. So basically, all we're putting up is other people's stuff. I know there's some fanart we didn't get to this time, for which you all have my sincere apologies -- it will be up in the next udpate, whenever the hell that's going to be.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT (again). This site is, for all intents and purposes, no longer being updated. I simply do not have the time to do anything other than updates every four or five months or so. Begging me will not change this. We have nothing to post here anymore other than the occasional batch of fanarts and recs.
The follow fanfics are scheduled to be finished at some point in time and *will* be posted here, but as stated above, updates will be sporadic and unpredictable, not to even mention slow: Anywhere But In Between, Though I Walk Through the Valley, and With Friends Like These. If Inspiration strikes, we will probably also continue with these: Where Will You Go, No Such Place as Home, and (although this is *very* unlikely) Before I Wake.
NO MORE ORIGINAL FICTION IS BEING POSTED HERE. For *any* new original fiction, you have to visit our ficlog. Get an account, ask to be friended, and you will receive all sorts of goodies like the sequel to Fallen Into Grace, Kouri's new original story, and most likely someday an update to The Ties That Bind. But none of that is getting posted here.
We're sorry for the inconvenience, but I simply don't have the time to devote to this site anymore. Thanks for all the years of support, and be sure to visit our ficlog to continue following our works.

Funny thing, the way real life likes to keep me from working on this site.
Updated: Fallen Into Grace (32-36, now complete!), Eventide (26+27, also complete), and With Friends Like These (only one chapter, but at least we're still working on it!).
Brief announcement: Really, people, emailing or begging in the guestbook doesn't help me get things updated faster. In fact, if you're going to be a brat about it, it only makes me *less* inclined to update. I work forty hours a week, sometimes more, and in my spare time have to *write* all this stuff, which does not leave me a lot of time for updating. Karasu doesn't have much more time than I do.
If you think I'm not talking to you, you're probably right. We got some very polite, encouraging emails. But then we got ones like "why havent u updated? you're so behind!" which make me *really* not inclined to spend the little free time I have plugging away at HTML. This is something I do by choice. If I haven't updated, it's not because I don't want to, it's just because I don't have time to. That's it and that's all.
It's not a conspiracy against you.
Sorry if I'm a little bitchy. ^_^;;;
Anyway, for more prompt updates, I suggest you try our ficlog. Updating there is a lot less of a pain, so I do it more frequently. Get an LJ account if you don't have one and ask to be friended, and you'll get access to a world of goodies.

Guh... this one's kinda late... uhm, well, let's see. Fallen Into Grace 16-22, Eventide 16-19, Where Will You Go 4 (whee! That one's been dead a while), With Friends Like These 25, and new fanarts. It may take us a while to update, but at least we give you a lot when we do. ^^
And attention! Someone, an eon ago, emailed us a nice picture of Spencer in From the Shadows and I, like a fool, have lost it. Which makes me feel dumb and unhappy. So if you read this, please email us with the picture again so we can put it up. ^_^
Also, in slightly less cheerful news, Towards the Within and Until the End have been taken down, as they are not going to be completed and letting them gather dust was silly. PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL EITHER MYSELF OR KIRA ASKING THEM TO BE COMPLETED. Thank you and have a good day. ^^

They're a little thinner than usual, because I did them all on my lonesome, but they're done! And hey, if you've emailed us and we never replied, by the way, that's because we're pathetic at answering email. We do appreciate it! I swear! Bear with us and we *will* try to get back to everyone!

Well, let's see... I've been doing fairly well updating monthly, and I'd say that I'd keep diong that, but I know that if I promise that, real life will leap out of the gutter, bite my ass, steal my wallet, and leave me for dead in a back alley. So, uh, let's all just be happy that there's an update. I've been pathetically busy latley with the GREs and grad school stuff, and I'm *still* woefully underprepared. You ever notice that the longer we have this page, the more I bitch on the updates list?
Right, moving on. This *lovely* update has lots of beautiful stuff in it. Chapters 6-8 of Fallen Into Grace (we're working like demons on that, it's really sick, there'd be a ton more but we're writing way faster than I can be bothered to code), two whole chapters of Fast Falls the Eventide, two whole chapters of Though I Walk Through the Valley, and chapter 22 of With Friends Like These. I also posted some of my pointless drabbles-- there are two in the X section and one in the Weiss section.

You know, the funny thing is, like two weeks ago I thought "I need to do a site update", and it took me this long to actually do. Okay, I guess that's not funny. ^^ There's also a lot of stuff I maent to put in this update and didn't, because I guessed that I would rather do it in a timely fashion than have it have everything I wanted in it. Er. I'll shut up now.
Chapters 53, 54, and the epilogue of WYWM are up, and that's the last of that. ::throws confetti:: Chapters 3-5 of Fallen Into Grace are up, as is chapter 21 of With Friends Like These and chapter 10 of Though I Walk Through The Valley, which has been resurrected. Enjoy!

Well, well, well... new layout! ::claps for pretty Kamui:: I did this because we might be adding some series' to the main page and there weren't going to be room for them... eheh. So, yeah, everyone clap for Kamui.
Fic wise, this update is relatively small. Chapters 49-52 of When You Were Mine are up. (This will be finished in the next update.) Chapter 2 of Fallen Into Grace, and chapter 10 of Anywhere but in Between are also up. Other than that, new recs, and I redid the links page so the links actually, you know, went places.

....the lateness of this is *so* not my fault. I got a new computer, and the word processor of it wouldn't open any of my documents. ::mutters about stupid WordPerfect:: So I had to wait until I could get Word before I could do the update.
To make up for it, it's a nice big update. It has WYWM 42-46 (5 whole chapters!), With Friends Like These 17-19, chapter 8 of Anywhere But In Between, some new fanarts, and the prologue to me and Karasu's new original fic, Fallen Into Grace. Enjoy!

I know this update is late, and let's just say you're lucky you got it at all, because it took me hours. -_- The FY section is revamped, it now has a whole lot of older stuff by my neechan and some cowritten stuff as well. Lots of short introspective ficcies. The recs are also done, although slightly slimmer than usual. ::sigh::
As for updates, there's chapter 7 of Anywhere But In Between, chapters 40 and 41 of When You Were Mine, and chapter 16 of With Friends Like These (which isn't proofread. Or, for that matter, re-read. Please don't gripe at typos.). And that's all, folks.

Okay... this update is pathetic. I had a lot more to put in it, but since I promised to do it today... I didn't. So, it's pathetic. Chapters 38 and 39 of When You Were Mine are up, as well as chapter 6 of Anywhere But In Between and chapter 3 of Where Will You Go. Almost all these things have already been posted in other places, but, ah... I suck?
Next time: I *promise* new recs. And I'm overhauling the Fushigi Yuugi section and putting in a bunch more stuff by my neechan and some co-authored fics from.. well, from when I still wrote for FY, heh. And that's all. Sorry for the patheticness.

And finally, the summary and character pages for Touch the Sky! Bet you all thought we'd never get around to that, didn't you!

Hey, for once I'm doing a Friday update again! ::snrks:: Uhm, here you go.... I have chapters 35 and 36 of When You Were Mine, chapter 15 of With Friends Like These, the Galen/Asher side story that goes with From the Shadows, and the first three chapters of a Harry Potter fic called "Anywhere But In Between", in which Karasu and I prove to the world how pathetic we really are.
I did get some fanarts recently, and they'll be up in the next update, I promise. Also, almost everyone who emailed the site mail account should have been answered by now. Very much sorry about that-- Karasu and I got wires crossed about who was supposed to be answering.

Uhm... happy Father's Day? This is a random update. I start work tomorrow, a nice, regular 40-hour work week thing, so who knows when the next update will be. =P Just kidding... I'll try to keep 'em coming, believe me. This one has chapters 33 and 34 of When You Were Mine, chapters 22 and 23 of From the Shadows (there will be a sidestory, but no more chapters, sorry), chapter 8 of Harry Potter and the Dementor's Kiss (we wanted to get another chapter out before the book came out Friday, heh), and chapters 13 and 14 of With Friends Like These... enjoy!

I am almost done with school. How terrifying. Just thought I'd mention that, heh. Smallish update. Chapter 6 of Before I Wake, chapter 27 of When You Were Mine, and the prologue to a new Yami fic, Where Will You Go. Muraki/Oriya. ^^ Oriya is my new god.
A QUESTION: Several people have approached us about starting a mailing list for when we update. Since I will soon be graduating college and updates will probably become more sporadic as I enter the working world, I thought that I'd see how many people are interested in this. If you are, please either drop us a line or leave a note in the guestbook... or a comment on my blog... whatever you like, just let us know if you're interested. If we get enough people, I'll start a little mailing list and let everyone know when we've updated.

Well, here we are back home. This week's update is smallish because (as usual) we had the week from hell. We seem to have those a lot, don't we. Anyway, there's a new one-shot Yami fic up called "Missing", chapter 2 of Awakenings, chapter 6 of The Ties That Bind, and chapter 7 of With Friends Like These. Hey! Today's update is *gasp* a day early! This is because Karasu and I are leaving for Spring Break tomorrow. We'll basically be computer-less until we get back. So today's update is early, and there will *not* be an update next week. Because we'll be in parts unknown. Wish us luck!

Well. *That* was an interesting few days. For anyone who didn't notice, the domain was down for two or three days (depending on how well your computer caches stuff, apparently), which is why there was no update yesterday. Or, er, no site yesterday. But it's all fixed now, and shouldn't be happening again. Woo.
So the update is a day late, but I'm sure you can all live with it. It's also a bit small, but... you can all live with that too, because this week was shit. (Pardon my French.) WYWM 22 is up, as well as chapters 4 and 5 of With Friends Like These, and chapters 3 and 4 of The Ties that Bind. Everyone enjoy Alec's pissiness.

So, you can ignore that message about Sundays. I'll just update Friday. And I'm sorry there wasn't one last week-- Ka-chan and I were both quite busy and the amount of stuff we actually had to post was pathetic... and I didn't have time anyway, so I just left it all for this week. So this week you get a nice big update with three, count 'em three, special surprises.
First the standards: Shadows 13, WYWM 20 and 21, chapter 7 of the Harry Potter fic, and the ending ficlet in the Mating Habits... series. Also, witness two stories you thought we had abandoned, mwahahah! Chapter 9 of Fast Falls the Eventide is up (::glomps Rowan::), as is chapter 3 of With Friends Like These, the Weiss fic we hadn't worked on in months. But the Big Special Surprise (not really) is the prologue and two chapters of a new original fic, The Ties that Bind. And it is, you guessed it, the sequel to Stained Glass Windows. Enjoy!

Er... so I lied and am updating on Friday. I give up. From now on I have no idea what day of the weekend I'll be updating. But I'm still going to try to update weekly! Unless I'm really busy. Given that I skipped the update last weekend because I was busy moving back into school, this week's update is *big*. Way to go, us! Still no character pages for Touch the Sky, because.... well, because we suck. But lots of other stuff! Windows 31 and 32, From the Shadows 10, and When You Were Mine 15, all in the originals section. The fifth chaplet of Mating Habits... the first two parts of a new Yami fic by Kira and I called "Towards the Within", and the first four chapters of me and Karasu's *cringe* Harry Potter fic. Well, this update is a week late, but that's because there was a lot I was trying to get done. So it's a big special update a week late. We'll survive. ^_^ To begin with, all broken links are fixed. (I think. I hope. I pray.) I know that a lot of the Home links hadn't worked since the site had moved, but I'm pretty sure I got them all. I also reorganized the Yami no Matsuei fic page so it was alphabetic. Ish. Four fics have come *down* from the Originals page: Genesis X, Touch the Sky, The Lake, and Father Figures. Please see the original fic page for explanations as to why these fics are no longer up. Two other fics have come down -- "Never After" and "Genesis" (the GW fic), purely because we were never going to work on them again. So, sorry.
A two paragraph update! Go me! This is what's actually been added this week: two new fanarts, the newest scene in Mating Habits..., chapters 12 and 13 of When You Were Mine, and chapters 5-7 of From the Shadows. There'll be plenty of Windows in the next update, so don't fret; I just didn't have time for it this week. Ta ta!
