This is an interesting warped little fic which is basically... well... I don't want to give it away, so you'll have to go read it. Entirely Seishirou/Subaru, though Kakyou and Hokuto make appearances, but it's definitely a Tokyo Babylon fic, not X. Well, Kamui shows up too. It's hard to explain, heh. Everything on Flamebyrd's page is really good; Yume just happens to be my favorite.

A very good mix of fluff and seriousness. Angel!Hokuto locks Subaru and Seishirou into the metaphorical closet to work out their issues. I read this years ago and I still love it. And, uhm, yeah, I'm gonna keep reccing stuff by Leareth, because I'm lazy and her stuff is *great*, so you may as well just read everything on her page. ^^

Yes, I'm reccing another fic by Leareth. Shut up. Actually, this is a series of fics, ranging from one shots to multi-parters. My personal favorite is "Roleplaying", which is a bodyswitch fic that had me in stitches at times, but some of the others are quite serious. It's Tatsumi/Tsuzuki, yet I still love it to pieces!

I can't find the full version of this fic anywhere online, although I do know it's finished... well, try Google, maybe you'll have more luck than me. If that doesn't work, it's all on CLAMPesque. It's a *very* interesting Yukito/Yue introspection figure-'em-out fic, with wonderful Touya and a very good OC. Highly recommended.

It's too complicated to explain very well, but it's one of our favorite GW fics ever, and the characterization and writing and plot are all great, so go read it. My summaries really blow, don't they.

Uhm, yeah, we stole this title for our own nefarious purposes. But the fic is good! It takes place several years after the series and it's *weird*, involving other planets and races and stuff, but it's still very cool. Heero/Duo, involving some of the best OCs that I've ever seen in fanfiction. Also has several sequels (the second is okay, the third is great, and I haven't gotten around to reading the fourth).

(About 2/3 of the way down the page) Complete and utter AU with some of the strangest division of characters I have ever seen. The setting is Medieval and total fantasy. No dragons but lots of magic with a fairly unique but workable and well thought out system. A well thought out plot, and a very nice sense of mood and mystery. Main pairings Aya(Ran)/Yohji and Omi/Nagi with other pairings in the works. It's worth reading for the other characters, though. It's what I would clasify as a drama/humor work. Also very long and updated fairly regularly.

....I can't say enough good things about this set of fics. (Except that they're sadly unfinished.) Great characterization (hey, they have no personalities in the show anyway), very Schwarz-centric, lots of *great* smut, interesting pairings (Schuldig/Omi! XD) that actually somehow *work* in context. Go read.

This is an entirely Schwarz centered fic. (Go to the page for Alles Schwarz, and it will be there, it's one of a series. They're all good, but this one was first.) The basic premise is that Crawford falls victim to a mysterious illness (which I looked up while reading the story. It is a real illness, so points for accuracy) and Schwarz has to function without their team leader. This is all made harder by the interference of the leaders of Rosenkreuz (these people are different from the three old fogies) taking a very personal interest in Schwarz. All four characters are very well done, even Farfie. What impressed me the most was that the characters are very well developed and well fleshed out, and yet I find myself feeling that it is still very much a canon characterization of them.

Very Schuldig-centric. Brad/Schu goodness. Very introspective and damned good. It's actually part of a trilogy that includes "Years" and "Detente", but this one is my favorite and any of the three can be ready separately. Also check out the B/S PWP on the site. Great smut.

Don't let the title fool you. It's a really great fic filled with more angst than you can shake a stick at. This is a drama that's not for the faint of heart. The plot is incredible, complicated, and detailed, though perfectly easy to follow. The author has done some really creative things, but without taking it out of the HP realm, and the character development is very well done. It Harry-centric, but the others (including Sirius and Remus) play very large roles. Story is *long* (176189 words) and still not finished. Updates are slow but they do happen.
Western Stars Alternate Timeline by Neutral and Fyre

This is actually a series of stories based on the premise that Sirius escaped from prison after only five years and rescues Harry from the Dursleys when he is only six. There are gobs of character torture, mostly of Harry and Sirius, but Remus does have a large part in the story. The first story takes place when Harry is six, the next when he is nine (unfinished, pester Neutral *please*), the next when he enter Hogwarts at age eleven (this one is by Fyre but well worth the read. Pester her too). And a humorous little short when Harry is sixteen. The characterization of Harry is a sharp departure from what we see in the canon, but very well done, and he's so damned *cute*. The series is good if you like angst and ever wanted to take Harry home and feed him cookies and warm milk.

Uhm... until Karasu gets off her bum and sends her me list of recs, this is what I've got for you. It's Sirius/Remus from their days at Hogwarts. Nice smut, good characterization, pretty ficcy in general. Only a two-parter, but that ought to hold you until Ka-chan does her work. ^_~

Now normally I don’t like HP slash unless it’s Sirius/Remus. Normally I don’t like any pairings but Ron and Hermione (they don’t get to have lemons because they are too young and I don’t want to see it.) and Sirius/Remus. And I usually *really* dislike Harry/Draco pairings. And yet, I adore this fic. It’s set in Harry’s fifth year, (completely discounting the fifth book) and it’s written in such a way that the romance, or lack thereof, seems realistic and honestly plausible. If you don’t read it for the plot, or the romance, read it for the humor. Draco is beyond funny. There were a few times when I fell out of my chair.

This is actually the first yaoi fic I (Kouri) ever read, so naturally I just had to recommend it. ^_^ It's strange, AU, has Tasuki/Nakago of all bizarre pairings, and I really love it. I have no idea whether or not it's actually that good, since I read it such a long time ago and now look at it through a patina of nostalgia, but if you want to see why I started reading and writing yaoi, here it is.

Just start at the top of the page and read the stories in order. This is a rather long (my favorite kind) story arc following Sojirou from his point of departure in the anime through several years of his life. Throughout the stories we get to watch his evolution from emotionless assassin to well the kind caring person Kenshin was hoping he would turn out to be. Though I am happy to say he loses none of the quirks that make him Sojirou. The story is still in progress, but because it’s written in a series of shorter works it’s definitely worth the time.
